The time depends on how large and how detailed you choose your design to be.

It typically takes 10-20 minutes for simple hand and hand-to-forearm designs. With more detailed designs, it may take 30+ minutes.

Following the application, it may take up to 30-45 minutes for the henna paste to fully dry.

The henna stain lasts about 5-8 days.

Water contact causes the henna to fade until it’s fully removed. Following day 3, you’ll start to see your design fade overtime.
